Delurking to let you all know that Inglorious Bastards is a really great movie.   Yes, it's long but it goes by quickly and it's well worth it.   A lot of the movie is in subtitles, it was  nice to see the actors (just about all of them I didn't recognize) speaking in German and French. But I must ask  katwoman76, why am I only finding out about Til Schweiger now?  Holy crap!

Any way, in 10 days I'll be closing on my house. The stress sucks. And here in my little apartment that I'm filling with things for the house leaving no room for me, things are interesting. I had two unexpected visitors - Wednesday at 3AM I almost stepped on a scorpion and this morning there was a lizard on the wall. I must say it is pretty neat seeing a scorpion crawl around with its tail in the air, but that didn't stop me from beating it with my tv remote. It crawled under the bed to die, but I stuck it in a glass.

And the lizard? It was on the ceiling and at first I thought it was another scorpion (yes they climb) and almost stabbed it with the back of a broom - but it ran away. So now there is a little lizard running loose in the apartment - probably hanging out with some hidden scorpions. I just hope they didn't decide to come with me to the new place.
